Hugomento is a boutique art gallery in San Francisco’s Dogpatch neighborhood founded by curator Hugo Lai in 2016. For the first time at FOG MRKT, Hugomento is excited to present a special showcase of US-based contemporary artists from the gallery roster. Visitors can explore unique handcrafted sculptural and functional art objects—including wild clay ceramics, reclaimed wood, and handblown glass—that pay homage to authentic materials and heritage artistry.

    • QUINCE

    • QUINCE & CO.

Quince & Co. is the award-winning Jackson Square hospitality company founded by Chef Michael and Lindsay Tusk. At FOG MRKT, Quince at Home presents pieces where the restaurant’s commitment to craft and material finds its expression in design. The shop, which curates works from master artisans for the home and table, will be exhibiting the beautifully refined ceramics of Cécile Cayrol. Rooted in a studio practice in Arles, Cayrol’s sculptural work in stoneware and porcelain reflects a rare devotion to form and texture.

    • SMALL WORKS PROJECTS

Artists just want to make things, and for thirteen years Small Works has helped them as the premiere custom frame shop on the West Coast. Now we’re helping in another way by producing limited edition prints and objects with some of our favorite folks. Launching at FOG MRKT, Small Works Projects presents editions, collaborations, and objects by and with our favorite artists.

Works In Progress, the local contemporary design initiative, presents a special edition of handcrafted objects for the entryway. Each piece interprets the transitional moment between inside and outside, expressed through wall mirrors, hooks, trays, mail holders, and stools. All participating artists and designers are Bay Area–based, working across both traditional and experimental sculptural media.
